This document is an electronic record in terms of the Information Technology Act, 2000, and published in accordance with the provisions of Rule 3 of the Information Technology (Intermediaries Guidelines) Rules, 2011 that require publishing the rules and regulations, privacy policy, and Terms of Use for access or usage of the Sanskriti – A Tale of Threads platform –houseofsanskriti.in (hereinafter referred to as the “Platform”).

The Platform is owned and operated by Sanskriti – A Tale of Threads Private Limited, having its registered office at [insert address].

Your use of the Platform and its services are governed by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Use”), including applicable policies incorporated herein by reference. By using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.

For the purpose of these Terms of Use, “You” or “User” shall mean any natural or legal person who has agreed to become a buyer on the Platform by providing registration data. The terms “Sanskriti,” “We,” “Us,” or “Our” shall mean Sanskriti – A Tale of Threads Private Limited and its affiliates.

By impliedly or expressly accepting these Terms of Use, you also accept and agree to be bound by Sanskriti’s other policies, including but not limited to the Privacy Policy and Return & Refund Policy, as amended from time to time.

1. User Account, Password, and Security

If you use the Platform, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your display name and password and for all activities that occur under your account.
You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
• Notify Sanskriti immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breach.
• Ensure that you log out at the end of each session.

Sanskriti shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this section.

2. Services Offered

Sanskriti provides a range of online services through its Platform, allowing users to browse and purchase handcrafted apparel, accessories, home décor, and lifestyle products (collectively, “Products”).

Purchases made on the Platform are governed by our specific Policies of Sale (such as the Cancellation, Exchange, and Return policies), which are incorporated herein by reference.

All products are subject to availability. While we make every effort to display accurate information, Sanskriti does not warrant that product descriptions or other content are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.

3. Platform for Transaction and Communication

The Platform serves as a medium for users to explore, communicate, and transact. Sanskriti acts only as a facilitator between buyers and sellers (where applicable) and does not own or control any product sold through third-party collaborations.

All commercial terms — including price, shipping, payment method, and warranties — are offered by and agreed to between buyers and sellers alone. Sanskriti does not control, determine, or guarantee these terms.

At no time shall Sanskriti hold any right, title, or interest over any products sold by third-party sellers, nor shall it have any obligations or liabilities in respect of such contracts.

Sanskriti shall not be liable for non-performance, delays, or defects arising from third-party suppliers, carriers, or service providers.

4. User Conduct and Rules on the Platform

You agree, undertake, and confirm that your use of the Platform shall be governed by the following principles. You shall not host, display, upload, modify, publish, transmit, update, or share any information that:

• Belongs to another person and to which you do not have any right.
• Is harmful, defamatory, obscene, harassing, invasive of privacy, hateful, or unlawful.
• Is misleading, fraudulent, or involves the sale of counterfeit products.
• Infringes any intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
• Promotes illegal activities or violates any law in force.
• Contains viruses or malicious code.
• Interferes with another user’s use of the Platform.
• Threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security, or sovereignty of India.

Sanskriti reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform if you engage in such prohibited conduct.

5. Pricing and Payment

All prices listed on the Platform are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated. Prices and availability of products are subject to change without notice.

In the event of any pricing error due to technical or typographical issues, Sanskriti reserves the right to cancel such orders.

Payments are accepted through secure, third-party payment gateways. Sanskriti does not store or process your credit/debit card information.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All content available on the Platform — including text, graphics, logos, images, icons, and software — is the property of Sanskriti – A Tale of Threads or its content suppliers and is protected under applicable copyright, trademark, and design laws.

You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or exploit any part of the Platform without prior written consent from Sanskriti.

7. Limitation of Liability

Sanskriti shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use or inability to use the Platform.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sanskriti’s total liability shall be limited to the amount paid by you for the product purchased.
